About Gender Education Network

Established in 2018, the Gender Education Network is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting trans and gender-diverse children by providing the education, resources, and compassionate guidance they and their families need.

What makes us unique is our focus on children 12 and under —the youngest among us—who are often overlooked in conversations about gender. We believe that early support and affirmation can make a lifelong difference. At a time when many families are still learning how to navigate this journey, we step in with tools, care, and community.

Whether it's a parent seeking to better understand their child, an educator looking to create a more inclusive classroom, or a caregiver needing language to advocate in healthcare settings—we’re here to help.

We provide:

  • Evidence-informed resources that affirm gender-diverse kids

  • Family support and education to nurture understanding and confidence

  • Community building and events

  • A strong commitment to equity, joy, and safety for all children

At the heart of everything we do is a simple belief: All children deserve to be loved, accepted, and supported exactly as they are.
